Does Activator D kill bacteria?
Yes. activator D does kill bacteria to a certain extent, and under normal conditions. activator D is sufficient for cleansing the water in your home pool, as well as keeping it free of algae.

However, activator D does not kill Ecoli (found in human faeces) and we recommend that for extra protection, especially with extensive pool use in "high traffic" pools such as hotels, schools and public swimming baths, a little chlorine can be added to the weir.
